METHOD 1

TACH MODE FOR SOME: DELUXE 12, 22, AND 62UNITS

THERE ARE 9 TACH SETTINGS, 1 THRU 8 WHERE AS 9 IS A DOUBLE FLASH MEANING THE UNIT IS DEFAULTED BACT TO NORMAL TACH MODE:

PRESS AND HOLD THE BRAKE, WITH IT HELD, PRESS AND HOLD BUTTON #2 UNTIL THE PARKING LIGHTS FLASH 2 TIMES,RELEASE BUTTON #2

1 CYLINDER TACH MODE, PRESS AND HOLD BUTTON #4 THE PARKING LIGHTS WILL START TO FLASH, 1 CYLINDER TACH MODE WILL WORK BEST WITH FLASH 1, IF NOT TRY FLASH 2.

2CYLINDER TACH MODE, PRESS AND HOLD BUTTON #4 THE PARKING LIGHTS START TO FLASH, 2 CYLINDER TACH MODE WILL WORK BEST WITH FLASH 4, IF NOT TRY FLASH 3, THEN FLASH 5.

DIESEL MODE, PRESS AND HOLD BUTTON #4 THE PARKING LIGHTS START TO FLASH, DIESEL TACH MODE WILL WORK WITH FLASH 8.

METHOD 2

 

TACH LEARN PROGRAMMING FOR: SOME DELUXE 12/22, AND 62 UNITS; SOME RS 102, 202, AND 602E UNITS; AND ALL RS1100/RS114, 1200, AND 1300 UNITS.

 

Press and hold the brake pedal, now press and hold Button #2 until the parking lights flash twice then release Button #2. Next turn your ignition key to the ON/RUN while still holding the brake, press and hold Button #4 until the vehicle starts. After the engine starts, release Button #4 to disengage the starter. Release the brake and turn your ignition key to the OFF position. After the Tach Learn is complete the parking lights will flash once to show that Tach Learn is now programmed. Now try the remote starter to be sure that there is no over crank and the starter is cranking long enough. If either occurs , you will need to reprogram the Tach Learn feature.
