What is the Data Bus Module? The JBS-VIP data bus module is a vehicle specific computer controlled devise that will allow your remote starter to control all the keyless entry functions and bypass the factory security system upon remote starting. Newer vehicles have become more complicated for installing keyless entry functions with aftermarket remote starters. The data bus module makes installing your remote starter a true do it yourself project and eliminates all the labor time of installing and searching for wires in the vehicle. Why is this so revolutionary? Previous methods for installing keyless entry onto your aftermarket transmitter required hardwiring each individual function in the vehicle. For example: hooking up the door locks would require finding the door lock wires in the vehicle, then wiring from the device (remote start control module) to each individual wire in the vehicle. This would also include the trunk release, dome light supervision, sliding van doors and disabling the anti-theft system for remote starting.The data bus module can reduce having to hook up as many as 12 wires down to 1 wire on the vehicle.
